Our cookies make great local gifts and are perfect for catering. Our many flavors make for a fun family treat where everyone can pick their favorites. We also provide a unique, fun group meeting space (bonus: it always smells like cookies coming out of the oven) with plenty of easy parking.
Our shop is open at 2237 Avent Ferry Rd in Raleigh, NC, just a stone’s throw from our State Farmer’s Market location, downtown Raleigh, Dix Park, and located between NC State University’s Main Campus and Centennial Campus. We also serve premium Homeland Creamery ice cream (think cookie shakes and custom made ice cream cookie sandwiches) and espresso drinks using locally roasted beans. About Us
Husband and wife owners, and long time Raleigh residents Darrin and April Morey, had a desire to work for themselves, baking the delicious family-recipe cookies April grew up baking. Along with re-creating nostalgic flavors such as molasses crinkle, and snickerdoodle, they also created unique flavors such as root beer float, and Mexican hot chocolate. Offering more than a dozen flavors of large, fresh-baked cookies, a visit to The Cookie People has become a sweet tradition for many triangle area families since 2008. While continuing to grow the business, as well as their son Mason, The Cookie People take pride in creating exceptional cookies that evoke fond memories of past generations’ cookie baking as an expression of love and connection.
